Connection with Towards Humanity

In Spring 1999 Wissam Boustany gave a recital in Hadleigh (near Ipswich), which was organised by Music at Layham. Christian Aid were also involved in the event. Many local flute players and music lovers from the area were drawn to the event and succeeded in raising £1,200 for Kosovo refugees, which Towards Humanity was able to channel through Christian Aid, who were very active in Kosovo during the refugee crisis.
